New DVD Lease Program!

Tired of not being able to find the newest DVD releases on our shelves? Well, fear no more! The Middleboro Public Library recently started a new DVD lease program that works just like their rental books. You'll find them on the "New Media" shelf right next to the other new DVDs. A little red label on the case signifies it's a rental item. These DVDs cannot be placed on hold by other libraries so they're exclusively for Middleboro patrons.

The library currently has 20 leased DVDs in our collection and will be adding 10 more each month.

Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum Heist Talk this Wednesday

Please join us this Wednesday, June 17, at 6:30 p.m. for a special talk and presentation by Stephen Kurkjian, author of a new book about the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum theft, Master Thieves: The Boston Gangsters Who Pulled Off the World's Greatest Art Heist.

Kurkjian, a 40-year veteran of the Boston Globe, is the paper's former Washington bureau chief and a founding member of its investigative Spotlight Team. He has won more than 25 national and regional awards, including three Pulitzer Prizes.
