Krazy Days 2017

KRAZY DAYS, a free, family-oriented summer festival, presented by Middleborough On the Move, will be held on Friday, August 4 and Saturday, August 5 from 10AM-5PM both days. Middleborough On The Move (M.O.M.) is a recognized 501(c)(3), all volunteer organization whose mission is to encourage the development of business and community in Middleborough, by promoting Middleborough as an exciting place to live, work and invest.

KRAZY DAYS had been a long standing favorite in the town for decades until it's "final" run in 2003. In 2012, M.O.M. revived the popular event as a Buy Local initiative, encouraging residents and guests to revisit the Downtown and remember the benefits of community living. Since the first year of its reincarnation, KRAZY DAYS has grown to draw over 10,000 visitors and approximately 200 vendors. 2017 will be the biggest year yet, with a larger downtown area devoted to the festival allowing more vendor and activity space.

Highlights for KRAZY DAYS 2017 include returning favorites such as the Beer Garden, live entertainment on the center stage, the Children's Activity Park, and the Community Dinner. Catered by the Hideaway Restaurant, the Community Dinner will close out the Friday night events with a BBQ Chicken dinner on the lawn of Massasoit Community College from 4PM - 7PM. Tickets are $10 for adults, with a discount for a block of 8 tickets for $75. A special children's menu of Hamburger with Mac & Cheese will be available for $5. NEW activities this year will include a Touch-A-Truck event, the FUN BUS, and inflatable obstacle course!

In addition to the added attractions and vendors, year-round local businesses are invited to participate through sponsorships and the Passport promotion. Guests visit local shops to gather stamps on their Passport, which, when completed, can be used to enter a drawing for prizes donated by area businesses and restaurants. The Passport program offers an interactive experience for visitors to explore and discover community resources. Businesses located outside the festival area and those who have service related missions are encouraged to sponsor the event and receive promotional recognition for their participation.

A limited number of vendor spaces are still available; local crafters, entrepreneurs, service industries and others are encouraged to apply as soon as possible! Special consideration is offered for non-profit groups and Middleborough residents. Application forms and information are available on the M.O.M. website: http://www.middleboroughughonthemove.org/krazy-days/
